130226-N-AW868-029 GULFPORT, Miss. (Feb. 26, 2013) Capt. Rick Burgess (left), commander, Naval Construction Battalion Center (NCBC) Gulfport and commander, 20th Seabee Readiness Group (SRG), transfers the 20th SRG command colors to Capt. Darius Banaji, prospective commander, 20th SRG during an historic realignment ceremony held at the Training Hall on board Naval Construction Battalion Center (NCBC) Gulfport. During the ceremony the 25th NCR and 20th Seabee Readiness Group (SRG) combined to make a new organization, Naval Construction Group (NCG) 2. The 22nd NCR was also aligned within NCG 2 and assumed the roles and responsibilities of the 25th NCR. NCG 2 will continue the mission formerly performed by 20th SRG.
