221215-N-N0748-1083 POTI, Georgia (Dec. 15, 2022) Builder 2nd Class Ian Potter, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 11, works with a soldier assigned to the Georgian Land Force’s 2nd Brigade Engineering Company to vibrate and strengthen the concrete pad for the Railhead Project in Poti, Georgia, Dec. 15, 2022. NMCB 11 operates as a part of Navy Expeditionary Combat Command and is assigned to Commander, Task Force 68 for deployment across the U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa area of operations to defend U.S., allied, and partner interests. Ensign Austin Roche, left, receives a graduation certificate from Commander of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command and 45th Chief of Civil Engineers, Rear Adm. John W. Korka.  Roche was one of 33 U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps (CEC) students who completed the 15-week-long CEC Basic Qualification Course at the Naval Civil Engineer Corps Officers School.
