Construction Electrician 2nd Class Alan Thomas, from Copperas Cove, TX, competed in sitting volleyball, track and wheelchair basketball and will compete in cycling during this year's 2017 Department of Defense Warrior Games, at Soldier Field, Chicago, Ill. Approximately 250 seriously wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans will participate in this year s competition, representing the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force and U.S. Special Operations Command.
