1966: NMCB 4 advance party departed Chu Lai for continental U.S.
1968: CAPT Charles C. Heid, CEC, USN, relieved CDR Paul R. Gates, CEC, USN, as Commander, 21st NCR.
1968: NMCB 3 relieved NMCB 121 at Camp Faulkner, Da Nang, RVN.
1968: NMCB 3 main body arrived at Camp Faulkner, RVN by government aircraft.
1972: Camp Hill, an advanced base training camp, was dedicated on July 12. It was named in honor of the late Captain James M. Hill, Jr., CEC, USN. The camp is situated on a 575-acre plot of land under lease to the Navy in the DeSoto National Forest, some fifteen miles north of the Naval Construction Battalion Center at Gulfport, Mississippi. Captain Hill was a former commanding officer of the Center.
1942: 13th and 14th NCBs commissioned at Camp Allen, Norfolk, VA.
1965: NMCB 7 boarded USNS
General Simon B. Buckner in Davisville, RI and arrived in Rota, Spain 13 days later.
1968: Seabee Team 5801 deployed from Chau Phu to Camp Haskins North, Da Nang, RVN.
1943: 106th NCB (Section I) commissioned at NCTC Camp Peary, Magruder, VA.
1944: ACORN 15 decommissioned. 89th NCB inactivated at Camp Parks, Shoemaker, CA.
1968: CDR F.H. Lewis, Jr., CEC, USN, relieved CDR E.H. March, CEC, USN, as Commanding Officer, NMCB 133
1942: The 7th NCB left the Advance Base Depot, Port Hueneme, California for San Francisco, California. This was the first battalion to stage through Hueneme.
1944: CBMU 613 was established in the Azores from the men of the 96th NCB. 33rd Special NCB commissioned at NCTC Camp Endicott, Davisville, RI.
1945: 26th NCB inactivated in Alaska, and remaining personnel re-designated CBMU 634. 2nd Special NCB inactivated on Guam.
1950: NMCB 3 activated.
1966: NMCB 40 advance party arrived in Chu Lai to relieve NMCB-4.
1970: Construction Battalion Unit 402 established at Pensacola, FL effective this date.
1971: CBU 414 established at NAVSUBBASE, New London, CT.
1943: 104th NCB activated at NCTC Camp Peary, Magruder, VA.
1968: The dedication ceremony for Camp Haines was held with RADM J.V. Bartlett, Commander, 3rd Naval Construction Brigade, as guest speaker. The camp was dedicated in honor of EOC John C. Haines who was killed during NMCB 4 s 1967 deployment to Da Nang, RVN.
1968: CDR R.J. Westberg relieved CDR J.F. O Leary as commanding officer, NMCB 8.
1969: NMCB 1 main body of 635 men arrived in Camp Campbell, Phu Bai, RVN.
1968: The first increment of the NMCB 58 Advance Party, consisting of one officer and 13 enlisted personnel departed Camp Haskins North, RVN bound for CBC, Davisville, RI.
1968: First increment of NMCB 22 s Advance Party, consisting of five officers and 75 enlisted men arrived at Camp Haskins North from CBC, Gulfport, MS.
2009: CAPT Scott Lister, CEC, USN, relieved CAPT Jim Wink, CEC, USN as commander, ACB 1 at ceremony at Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, CA
1970: Seabee Team 0708 arrived at Davisville, RI from Vietnam for reassignment to NMCB-7.
2006: U.S. Navy approved establishment (effective 1 October) of 25th NCR and NMCB 11 to be headquartered at Construction Battalion Center, Gulfport, MS.
