NMCB 1 Readies for Deployment

Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1 Seabees participate in the final scenario of their Field Training Exercise (FTX) Operation Bearing Duel, including bridge construction. FTX tests the battalion's readiness to deploy through a variety of realistic scenarios potientially encountered during Seabee deployments. NMCB 1 provides combatant commanders and Navy component commanders with combat ready warfighters capable of engineering, construction and limited combat engineering across the full range of military operations.
