Seabees Throw Down to Earn Green Belt

Electronics Technician 1st Class Duvon Thomas throws Construction Electrician 1st Class Michael Baxter to the ground during a Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP) green belt qualification course. After more than 70 hours of training 15 Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5 completed the third course in MCMAP and received their green belts while deployed to Camp Shields in Okinawa, Japan.
