Family and friends welcomed home more than 190 Seabees assigned to NMCB 1, Main Body, Advanced Party, at the Training Hall on board NCBC Gulfport, Miss., as they returned from deployment, Feb. 4. For more than six months The First and Finest of NMCB 1 have been operating forward deployed to the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility (AOR) in support of construction operations throughout Europe and Africa.
