Sailors assigned to Assault Craft Unit TWO (ACU) 2, Underwater Construction team ONE (UCT) 1 and Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 133 conduct onload and offload operations at the mudflats on board Joint Expeditionary Base – Little Creek (JEB-LC) during LSE 2021, showcasing the Navy’s ability to get critical forces and equipment from sea to shore in austere environments. The all-hands effort, commanded by UCT 1 as part of an adaptive force package, demonstrated the full spectrum of the Navy Expeditionary Combat Force (NECF), including: Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit TWO, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit TWO, Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron TWO, and NMCB 133.
