U.S. Navy Seabees with Underwater Construction Team 2 (UCT 2) work with Jim Chaney of Arctic Solar to set up the flexible solar panels in Port Hueneme, California on May 25, 2018. UCT 2 is reducing its logistical footprint and resupply requirements through the adoption of innovative solutions such as expeditionary solar power and lighting systems that will enable extended time on station in austere environments with limited resupply of bulk fuel.
