Timor-Leste Maritime Police Unit personnel prepare for the pier’s ribbon cutting ceremony in Dili, Timor-Leste on March 28, 2018. CDDB led the effort with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 4 and Timor-Leste National Police’s Maritime Police Unit to construct a steel pile pier to increase small boat berthing in support of maritime security operations. CDDB is currently deployed to provide construction, inspection, maintenance, and repair of underwater and waterfront facilities in support of the U.S. Pacific Fleet.
