U.S. Navy Steelworker 3rd Class Candace Lightsey, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, fastens rebar as part of the construction of a K-span on Camp Shield, Okinawa, Oct. 30, 2017. NMCB 4 recently deployed to Okinawa as the forward deployed NMCB, ready to support Major Combat Operations, Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief operations. They provide general engineering and civil support to Navy, Marine Corps and joint operational forces.
