160607-N-OU129-119 ZAMBALES, Philippines (June 7, 2016) Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Davonte McCraven from Navy Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4 along with his Philippine counterparts cut a support beam at Beddeng-Mabangcal Elementary School during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Philippines 2016. CARAT is a series of annual maritime exercises between the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps and the armed forces of nine partner nations to include Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Timor-Leste.
