
BEECAM: NMCB 27 Clears the Way in Horn of Africa

NMCB 27 Seabees assigned to Commander, Task Force 68.2 clear brush from outside Camp Lemonnier in Djibouti, Africa, Sept. 8. Clearing the brush is an improvement in force protection for the camp. U.S. 6th Fleet, headquartered in Naples, Italy, conducts the full spectrum of joint and naval operations, often in concert with allied, joint and interagency partners, in order to advance U.S. national interests and security and stability in Europe and Africa.
