
BEECAM: NMCB 1 Seabees Place Concrete at Naval Base Guam Project

Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1 place concrete at a project aboard Naval Base Guam, Oct. 20, 2015. NMCB 1 provides expeditionary construction and engineering (combat service support), whichincludes horizontal and vertical construction, operation and maintenance of expeditionary bases and facilities, tactical sustainment bridging, humanitarian assistance (HA) through Construction Civic Action Details (CCAD) and Civic Action Teams (CAT), and theater disaster response capabilities. NMCB 1 is assigned to Commander Task Force (CTF) 75, the primary expeditionary task force responsible for the planning and execution of coastal riverine operations, explosive ordnance disposal, diving engineering, and underwater construction in the U.S. 7th fleet area of responsibility.
