
NMCB 11 Improves Life at Camp Krutke

Utilitiesman Constructionman Joshua E. Coote, left, from Lexington, Ky., and Utilitiesman 2nd Class Joshua P. Kondratowicz, from Pulaski, N.Y., assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 11 place a power cable in a trench that will be buried to provide power to a 10-ton heating, ventilation and air conditioning unit. Homeported in Gulfport, Miss., NMCB-11 is deployed to Afghanistan to conduct general, mobility, survivability engineering operations, defensive operations, Afghan National Army partnering and detachment of units in combined/joint operations area - Afghanistan in order to enable the neutralization of the insurgency and support improved governance and stability operations.
