Dean Vanderley, commander of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command and chief of civil engineers, and Force Master Chief Petty Officer of the Seabees Lawrence Sharpe salute during a Seabee birthday wreath-laying ceremony at the gravesite of Adm. Ben Moreell, also know as the "Father of the Seabees," at Arlington National Cemetery. This is the 81st birthday of the Seabees and is a time to commemorate the dedication, service, and sacrifice of Seabees and Civil Engineer Corps officers who serve or have served in the U.S. Navy.
