200211-N-WA745-1083 POHNPEI, Federated States of Micronesia (Feb. 11, 2020) The students of Sokehs Elementary School use the newly constructed hand-wash station installed by the U.S. Navy Seabees deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Pohnpei. U.S. Navy Seabees are renovating the school, which educates over 140 students from kindergarten to eighth grade from the island of Sokehs. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
