171102-N-FT956-0074 DIEGO GARCIA, British Indian Ocean Territory (Nov. 2, 2017) Equipment Operator Constructionman Dorian Macal, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, uses a cutting torch to cut through structure beams in order to dispose of the material from the existing Pre-Engineered Building project. After they cut down the beams to four feet, they must palletize and band it. NMCB 4 is forward deployed to the pacific region, ready to support major combat operations, humanitarian assistance/disaster relief operations, and provide general engineering support to Navy, Marine Corps and joint operational forces.
