FORT HUNTER LIGGETT (Sept. 28, 2015) – Stretcher barrers, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, carry a burn patient to the Battalion Aide Station with security escorts, in Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., during the 2015 Field Training Exercise (FTX), Sept. 28. The training is designed to exercise all aspects of the battalion’s defensive and operational capabilities from manning a fighting position on the company lines, to reacting to chemical warfare threats and improvised explosive devices.
