150818-HD670-045 FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, Calif. (August 18, 2015) – Utilitiesman Constructionman Robert Douglas, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, uses a hammer to loosen a coupling on a mud pump during water well training. The goal of the training is to drill a well at 600ft in order to produce 45 gallons per minute utilizing three, six-man crews to cover around the clock operation.
