NMCB 5 Timor Leste hosts US ambassador to Metinaro School project site

Builder 3rd Class John Montecalvo, left, and Builder 2nd Class Christopher Murray, both assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5 Construction Civic Action Detail (CCAD) Timor Leste, answer the U.S. ambassador to Timor Leste Hon. Judith Fergin’s questions regarding the Metinaro School renovation projects during her visit to the site. Seabees conduct CCAD operations like this one in order to demonstrate U.S. commitment, develop enduring relationships, improve public infrastructure for the delivery of essential services, and strengthen local institutions with host and partner nations around the world.
