PORT HUENEME, Calif. (June 4, 2021) Cmdr. Jonathan Nieman, commanding officer of U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, passes the battalion colors to Cmdr. LaKeeva Gunderson, prospective commanding officer of NMCB-3, during a change of command ceremony on board Naval Base Ventura County, Port Hueneme. Seabees are the expeditionary engineering and construction experts of the naval service.
