(Above) KWAJALEIN ATOLL – Builder 3rd Class William Mathis, from Southampton, Virginia, and local apprentice Junior Jibke place concrete into column formwork during a Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1 school building project on the island of Ebeye, Republic of the Marshall Islands, June 15, 2017. NMCB 1 is forward deployed to execute construction, humanitarian and foreign assistance, special operations combat service support, and theater security cooperation in support of U.S. Pacific Command.
