Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4 completed water well training at Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., in late summer. The goal of the training is to drill a well at 600 feet in order to produce 45 gallons per minute utilizing three, six-man crews to cover around-the-clock operation. NMCB 4 is homeported in Port Hueneme, Calif., in a training cycle in preparation for a 2016 deployment.
